CTA Painting NSW choose TRACCESS 170
Con Vrondos, director of CTA Painting has taken delivery of a brand new Traccess 170 with a custom built aluminium trailer.
CTA Painting specialise in all painting related services in the Sydney region. They already own two 34' knuckle booms but needed a special access platform like the Traccess to reach those hard to get to areas where traditional knuckle booms can not go.
The Traccess 170 with its 800mm width and low weight is perfect for doing these jobs. The double pantograph lower boom with its one button raising and lowering action is perfectly suited for painting up and down walls.
The non-marking tracks and auxiliary electric motor allows the Traccess 170 to work internally as well.
Since taking delivery of the Traccess 170 it has been in constant use.
Southern Cross University purchase a new Traccess 135
Southern Cross University's maintenance department have taken delivery of a new Traccess 135 platform and trailer. The Traccess 135 with its 13m working height and 6.5m of outreach will be kept busy at the Universities four campuses in Coffs Harbour, Lismore, Tweed Heads and the Gold Coast.
The University purchased the Traccess 135 because it is a compact and highly versatile access platform for off-road, rough terrain and other narrow access applications where conventional equipment can not be used. It can be manoeuvred through extremely narrow gates and doorways, around tight corners and carried on the plant trailer.
When working indoors the electric motor provides pollution free operation with no noise or toxic fumes disturbing the students.
The simple hydraulic controls allow the unit to be operated easily with minimal training required. Reliable load sensors provide users with an audible warning if the maximum load is exceeded. Interlocks prevent further operation until the load is brought back within safe woking limits. All hydraulic services are designed for fail safe operation with check valves on all cylinders.
TP9000 Trailer Mounted Scissor Lift for JR Crossingham Plumbers
Northern NSW plumber John Crossingham has purchased his first piece of access equipment for his business, a TP9000 trailer mounted scissor lift.
The decision came after an accident at work when John fell from a ladder and injured both his ankles. Thinking of how lucky he was not to have more serious injuries, and with his son also in the family business, John decided to search for a suitable platform to access work at heights.
John does a lot of work on roofs and was constantly up ladders. The TP9000 can reach a maximum working height of 9m and with its 230kg basket capacity and an extendable deck has more then enough room for his workers with the tools needed to get the job done.
The TP9000 is the only trailer mounted scissor lift available in Australia, because it is transportable behind most family sized cars, John can easily save money on delivery costs and have it onsite when he needs it. The simple 'one touch' automatic outrigger levelling system also makes the TP9000 very easy to use.
